We are very protective of our user's accounts. We'll never knowingly devulge your account information to anyone else. Only you and possibly the email accounts you have elsewhere will have access to your information. In particular, your password is your lifeline to your Cotse Account. We will never ask for your password.
There are two ways to retrieve your lost password:
Method 1): Your Hint/Key. The Hint/Key was given by you when you originally signed up for your Cotse Account. Simply send an email with your Cotse Account Name and the Hint to: helpdesk@cotse.net. "Guessing" your hint/key by sending 2 or more "guesses" will not work. We will not accept a "guess" even if one of the hints/keys or hint/key phrases is accurate.
Method 2): We will send a message to the Cotse Account showing that you are attempting to retrieve the password. After one week, if no one responds to the email sent to your Cotse address, we will release the password to the requesting party.
After you request your password, you may be contacted with further instructions. We archive all messages sent trying to obtain a password.
Password retrieval isn't automated. There's no way to fool a script or brute force the password retrieval. We're real people, monitoring all requests.
